Riktningsprepositioner Övningar på engelska

Riktningsprepositioner är viktiga för att beskriva rörelser och positioner i förhållande till andra objekt. Att behärska dessa prepositioner är avgörande för att kunna kommunicera tydligt och exakt på engelska. Exempelvis kan skillnaden mellan "in", "on" och "at" vara förvirrande, men med rätt övningar och förklaringar blir det enklare att förstå och använda dem korrekt. Genom att öva på dessa prepositioner kan du förbättra din förmåga att beskriva var saker och ting befinner sig, samt hur de rör sig. För att hjälpa dig på vägen har vi samlat ett antal övningar och exempel som fokuserar på de mest använda riktningsprepositionerna i engelska språket. Varje övning är utformad för att ge dig praktisk erfarenhet och förtroende att använda prepositionerna i olika sammanhang. Vi uppmuntrar dig att arbeta igenom övningarna noggrant och att upprepa dem tills du känner dig säker. Exercise 1

The kids ran *towards* the ice cream truck (preposition indicating direction). Ledtråd: mot glassbilen. 7. The mail was delivered *to* the wrong address (preposition indicating direction to a place). Ledtråd: till fel adress. 8. She walked *up* the stairs to her room (preposition indicating upward movement). Ledtråd: uppför trappan. 9. The swimmer dived *into* the pool (preposition for entry). Ledtråd: in i poolen. 10. We traveled *across* the country by train (preposition indicating movement from one side to another). Ledtråd: tvärs över landet.

The letter fell *behind* the couch (preposition for at the back of something). 9. The painting is hung *above* the fireplace (preposition for higher than something). 10. We drove *along* the coast for a scenic view (preposition for parallel to something).
